Enrolling your child

Enrolling your child at Holy Spirit School is an important decision. We welcome enrolment enquiries for students entering Preschool to Year 6 throughout the year.

The official enrolment period for Catholic System Schools is in May. Parents wishing to enrol their child at Holy Spirit School for the following year, can obtain an enrolment form from the school’s front office or the Catholic Education website. Return all required documentation and the $25.00 enrolment fee to the school’s front office.  Applications received after the due date can only be considered if vacancies still exist.

Documentation required:

  • Completed and signed enrolment form
  • Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate (where applicable)
  • Immunisation records

Following the consideration of all applications, the Principal will make offers of placement.

School Uniform

All uniform items are to labelled.

Bucket hats are a compulsory part of the uniform. All students are required to wear a hat for all outdoor activities, including sport, lunch, recess and excursions. NO HAT NO PLAY.

Hats are available from the Front Office or the Uniform Shop.

During the Winter Terms the children are allowed to wear a navy blue beanie.

Girls’ Summer

  • Catholic Schools Summer Dress or Navy blue shorts and pale blue polo
  • Maroon Polar Fleece with School Logo
  • Navy or white socks
  • Black shoes (no joggers)

Girls’ Winter

  • Standard Catholic Primary School Pinafore or Navy slacks
  • Long sleeve sky blue blouse with peter pan collar
  • Sky blue long sleeve polo/skivvy
  • Maroon Polar Fleece with School Logo
  • Navy socks/ Navy tights
  • Black shoes (no joggers)

Girls’ Sport

  • Embroidered Sports Polo
  • Microfibre sports shorts with embroided School name
  • Sports shoes

Boys’ Summer

  • Sky blue polo shirt

Other uniform information (in the interests of safety and hygiene)

No jewellery is permitted other than a watch or stud-type earrings. Long hair is to be tied back at all times using bands and ribbons that reflect our school colours.

It is essential that full school uniform be worn at all times.

Please mark all clothing with your child’s name.

Clothing Pool

Our Clothing Pool has both used and new uniform items of clothing. The clothing pool is open on Friday mornings  8.30am – 9.30am.

Before and After School Care

Our Early Learning Centre offers high quality Before and After School Care and Holiday Programs for student in the Preschool and up and Kindergarten. For enquiries regarding Before or After School care in the ELC, please contact the front office on 6162 0488.

OSHClub offers available places for before and after school care for students in Kindergarten to Year 6. OSHClub run the Before and After School Care Program at the Nicholls Joint Facilities. OSHClub provides the highest quality Before School Care, After School Care, and Holiday Programs for Primary aged children.
